My baby is almost a year old.*cries* He still nurses often during the day and some at night, he's not really big on food yet, and he had water once and a while when the weather is really hot. Though he doesn't like solid food much, he prefers things he can feed himself rather than things he has to be fed. Rice, soft veggies, some fruits, and some cereals are his favorites. So those of you who have 1 year olds what are your's eating right now? What are some of their favorite foods? (This is not a plea for help, I am not asking what I should be feeding my child, I am just fine with his diet and he is very healthy. Thank you.)

My baby is 2 now but she loved cereal. Most kinds. We gave her anything that wasnt a choking hazard and let her explore. This was such a fun time for me to see my baby learning to love new foods. When we ate dinner I gave her anything we were eating so long as it was not a saftey issue and as she grew up we gave her more options. Now we cut things for here but she eats what we eat.

It is such a fun time, watching them explore new foods and textures. :)

My son is 15 months old and eats pretty much anything we put in front of his face. He's not very picky. He's not too fond of most pasta, and he only eats green beans if he gets to eat them with his fingers, but otherwise, I can't think of anything he WON'T eat. LOL He drinks whole milk now, and really just eats whatever it is that we are having. He loves yogurt for a snack. He also really likes pickles. He eats a banana just about every day. It's not hard at all for us to get him to eat all the fruits and veggies and everything he needs everyday. Especially now that he is self feeding with a spoon. He out eats me most days. It's always funny when we go out to eat. Servers almost always say that the kids' meals will be too big for him, so we should just feed him off of our own plates. He then proceeds to eat the ENTIRE plate full by himself. The servers are amazed. He is really tall, but kinda thin, so I guess they just think he won't eat much.

My baby is 14 months. He eats a veriety of food.He takes formula milk and I still nurse him.He likes to eat all sorts of adult food.I give hime cereal for dinner and for lunch veggies and rice.He can eat some foods on his own.He dislikes banana, may be because I use to feed him 2-3 bananas a day when he was about 7 months old.Grapes is his favouritre fruit.

I have an almost 3 year old and an 8 month old. My 8 month old is at that stage where he REALLY hates it when I feed him via spoon, He has reached this stage much earlier than his older brother did, but I think he is trying to catch up to him! (: He really likes veggies, fruits, rice etc. He also enjoys chicken alot, and some other softer meats. he likes little bits of cheese and on the rare occasion that he'll allow me to feed him, he'll eat yogurt or rice cereal. He also enjoys pasta, and ravioli, raisins, and other small bits of whatever I or his brother are eating. Oh, yes, he also really likes cottage cheese! He unfortunantly weaned himself at about 6 months, and I miss it very much. *sigh* (:
