Can a mother love an adopted child/ren as much as birthed ones?

I have heard of a couple having the privilege and joy of adopting twins. There is much joy in this household because of the new bundle but it made me wonder if there will ever be some deep sadness anywhere in the parents hearts that these children are not of their own genes.
Can a mother who has never had children be really able to love their adopted darlings just as much without any regrets?
Will having these adopted children truly quench that thirsty desire of having your own?

I think some mother really can do this as you said, but more could not.
As a woman, if she like child, she will would like to have her own one.
if she could not have her own one , she might adopt one , but she will feel a pity .
but some woman really can love the adopted one without a pity.
for them, they only love child no matter if he is borned from her.
