What is the worst/craziest job you have ever had?

I got it in my mind one day that I needed a job so bad that I would teach chess to elementary school kids for a company that provided after-school programs to kids (not for free). There were only three problems I had: (1) I did not know how to play chess; (2) I have never taught anybody anything; and (3) the look you get from a first grader when you try to explain a logic game.
I was so bad at playing that children would beat me regularly! I always played it off by telling the kids, "I let you win."
All in all, I made it out alive and learned two things; (1) I still suck at chess, and (2) Kids are honest to a fault! You would not believe some of things that fly out of a child's mouth. HILLARIOUS!

lol oh man what in the world made you choose chess if you didnt know how to play? why not checkers?
i think the worst job i had was working door to door for Kirby vacuums. not actually selling the vacuums but instead trying to "sell" a signing up for a sweepstakes to win the latest model..wherin a salesperson would come a knocking.
believe me, there werent too many takers on the idea..and i got paid by how many i brought in a day. i think the most i ever made was $20. for about 4hrs of work lol!

Chess was the only "subject" the company had, and I dont know what I was thinking.
However, I think you may have taken the cake! I have never heard of a door-to-door salesperson that creates leads for door-to-doors salespersons in the same company!
