Of course, I will be very very very disappointed with the boss and company. The reason is I have produce quality service and evidence of works for the company to grow, if they are unable to pay me my salary, what is the use of working for them? In addition, I am not a free labour so I have my rights to claim what I deserve.

At first i might not be disappointed but i should know the reason why the salary is delayed and have a clear advice as to when i can expect to receive it. If the expected time to receive my salary is after 5 days from the normal payday. I will be very disappointed, because for sure i am very tight with my budget at that time. The salary is a result of my hardwork, I delivered my service on time, it is reasonable to receive my pay on time.

Actually this happened to me once but it was not my own salary but of my husband, that morning babies milk and diapers are already empty and since it we know that he will receive his salary by the end of the office so i really expected it but when he got home with nothing i really was disappointed and i cried. I really didn't know what to do at that time?where will i get money for babies milk and diapers?and food? Our money is always short and cannot reach the next pay day, our salary combined is not enough for all of us 4. So i learned my lesson, it was tough and now i make sure i have at least enough money to buy milk until the next payday.

Oh dear, very sad to read this. I think it is the most sad and helpless situation of parents when it comes to necessities of children and there is no money. Yes please be careful that next time you keep aside money atleast for babies milk. Hope others will also learn something from this discussion. Thanks for sincere contribution.

No, I would not be very disappointed, these things happen. I would however want to know what happen & when can I expect to have my check. I learned along time ago not to live from paycheck to paycheck, we all should always have money put away for days such as this. Good Question:-)

Hello apsaro60
Of course I will, after the working a whole month and they said I will not get my salary on that day.
But that is the risk if we work with other people's company right.
God bless you

Yes it is risk for us who are employees, but if you are an employer or owner, then it is not your financial problem but still it is a problem which can take away you sleep in the night and your peace of the day. Because if you are not able to pay salary of your employees....you can imagine what can happen......you see problems and only problems.......lol

Wow! what a point to make, if you have planned on that money and decided the time to spend it then it's great disappointment. some people plan and when they missed what they have to do it's a disaster. Especially if one has seen some items and need the money badly and they posponement comes with you missing the item narrowly. That's the most disappointing and annoying as well.

Most definitely. It has been times where my check was given to me at the time due because the delivery guy was late. Or the payroll package was lost in transit. I wasn't as mad as others for the simple fact that I could have gone another 2 weeks before I was broke. Other people needed their checks for important reasons and were very disappointed.
