In my opinion tax reform is the single most important issue confronting this county right now. The old income tax system is to complicated, and corrupt. It favors special interest groups, and allows the super rich to pay no taxes at all. The fair tax is fair to us all and will raise the same or more taxes for the government. The rich, illegal aliens, everyone will pay the tax when they purchase goods in the form of a national sales tax. I will permit you to carry your entire pay check home, and at the same time eleminate the IRS. Think of it April 15 will be just another day. Certain necessities are exempt fromt the tax, and only incomes above a certain level would be taxed at all. This system would help the economy by putting more at least 30% more purchasing power into the economy. Think what a boost this will be.
