That is an interesting question I think, I do not fancy mine, even if he is cute, but, I can understand some people do fancy their boss. If so, will you be ready to go a step further from a promotion or other privileges ?

Well, in my early to mid twenties I dated my boss. I know that some people frown on dating your boss, but I was of the opinion that a girl had got to do what she needs to do to take care of herself. So when my boss approached me to go out for drinks I said sure. I saw it as something good to have your boss in your corner. When he wanted to be more than friends, I said ok. When he wanted to take the relationship in a more intimate direction, I said sure. I got rewarded for being his girlfriend. I went from a temp to a perm employee in 6 weeks instead of 6 months. I got raises, I got promotions and I did get some perks that other employees didn't get. Lots of people knew I dating my boss, but no one ever seemed to mind or think anything of it. There were no rules at our company that prevented it. And I never slacked off on my work. I earned my raises and promotions at my job because I was good at my job, not because I was dating my boss. His boss had to approve my promotions and raises too. So, I earned those based on my own merit.

Thank you for your answer, I like the honesty, and why not being a part of the system instead of seing it.
I was not sure why I posted that subject, It seems to be a bit taboo and only you answered so far.
I am also pleased that is not the fact you were promoted for your competences and not because of !!!

I did think one of my last bosses was good looking from the first day I saw him. But he was also married, as well as being my Boss. Practicality said it wouldn't be a good idea to go any further then for me to just enjoy looking at him.
I don't think he ever knew for sure how I felt, as I tried pretty much to keep it hidden, and maintain the boss/employee relationship.
After awhile it seemed better to just let it remain a fantasy, rather then becoming a reality. But there were certainly moments I wished it could have become a reality. Just didn't really think that would ever happen, or even that it should actually happen.
