What is Phishing???

Please Explain to me what is Phishing and are antivirus software equipped to handle it.

Phishing is a method used by hackers to duplicate a web server and make it look alike the original one. When a user who is unaware of this keys in his username and password, the same are captured by the duplicate site and used by them for financial benifits.
