yesterday, i've been trying to register for an e-gold account, but i just can't, whenever i try to open for an account, this is what the site says:
"The IP address you are using appears to be an open proxy... unless you resolve this issue you cannot access to e-gold services.."
what would i do? somebody help..i'm worried that i might get denied again..

Try logging in from a computer which has its own internet connection and not a shared one. The internet connection on the computer shouldnot be shared to anyother computer, it must be a dedicated connection, then tell me what error do you get

i have just successfully registered for my e-gold account. for those who shared their advice, thank you guys! it was a big help for me. try to register again after few days. thats what i did. with the help of my friends- huazelei, i have successfully registered for an account. thanks again!

Hi,
I am also experiencing the same problem. The error message was:
Access denied
The IP you are using to access the e-gold website (203.87.208.234) appears to be an either open proxy or otherwise exploited. You will not be permitted to access e-gold services from this IP while this condition continues.
Your first order of business to restore access should be to make sure that you are computing securely. Please read and implements e-gold's Security Recommendations.
After you have resolved any security issues, including virus removal, it may take a day or two for your accessed to be re-enabled.
About their Security Recommendations, I as check my pc, all is well, got windows firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware etc...
Can you contact myLot admin to review Xoom (see www.xoom.com)? I hope they can add Xoom in their payment system for Philippine Members.

the same thing happened to me for the past few weeks. i don't use anymore my own computer in logging into my e-gold account. i usually go to an internet cafe and get access to my e-gold account there.
there's another way to do but i won't recommend it to you since it is not safe and if you wish you can do it at your own risk. i tried using a proxy server and i was able to login to my e-gold. pm if you are intrested using a proxy server.

i already tried to log in on a dufferent computer but it seems like its not working. i think i will not log in for a few days. well thanks. if there will be a problem again, can i contact you for help?

i have this problem again. i've been trying to upload some photos lately to add for my photos but the site says that i've alreay reached the maximum capacity for uploading. is it normal?

As I would see, I think you should check if your account number is registered. I dont see any specific problems that cost of your computer to pop that issue. You must check if your computer is not using any proxies that can conflict to the server of mylot. Or else just simply create a new account!!!
