Okay, well I got a job proposition, and hopefully if all goes well everything will be legit and things will go smoothly. A lot of you might think I'm crazy but I'm not the only one doing it, getting jobs online then moving to a place I don't know to people I've never met... There's one site I've used in the past and one I am currently using. Filled with people looking for jobs and people offering jobs in the equine industry(horses) and Au-Pair industry (tending for children, household...) The one I used to go for an Au pair job was http://www.sunnyaupairs.com/ I found a job in the uk in Slough, and work for 2 months April and May of 2005 The one I'm using now is http://www.yardandgroom.com/ where I got a job proposition for Manchester-UK, I should be going there to work in June on the 25th of 2007 this year. I used free accounts on both sites but they have paid features if you're intterested. Well does anyone have any tips for living in Manchester countryside? More specifically - Fiddlers Lane, Irlam, Manchester, area? Can anyone tell me of what sort of wildlife I should be seeing around there? A friend that lived a few miles away told me some I might see but he said he wasn't sure if what he saw a lot would be what I'd see where I'm heading. Anything else you'd like to add feel free to do so... Thanks

Oh my goodness, PT, I don't know anything about wildlife. But I like to share with you that I was also browsing the net this past few days looking for some possible legitimate job. I am also contemplating to migrate to another country. This will take time, of course. I have to plan a long lists, check the country I'm interested and just about a whole lot of things to consider. I do hope some members will be able to provide you more insightful ideas on your questions.

Thanks, so far only one person has written something that might be useful. I'm guessing I won't get much more replies unfortunately. Thanks for your reply though ;)

Manchester? Well it's pretty big place you'll probably love it as they have a good music scene and a good shopping centre. Goodluck, ~Joey

Sorry, I know nothing about the UK, but I think you're incredibly brave to pick up and take off for a new country like that!!! It sounds exciting, though! Good Luck!!!!!
