Today i saved a Girl and his fathers life

Today when i was going in a very crowded street at kalbadevi i saw a couple of guys harrasing an old man who had his daughter of 19 years with him and they were kind of manhandeling the girl and the old man was trying to save his daughter from the goons. I was surprised that in such a crowded place nobody bothered to intervene as those idiots were going on and on hence i decided to take matters in my hand and i found a large stick lieing on the ground and i picked it up and bashed the goons up when the public saw me attacking them they came to my help and then handed the two to the police. I mean why don't people take the initiative to help people it happens only when someone takes and starts the cause the other join in. What do u think in this regard?????
