If you have, share your experiences. If you haven't, how bad are you longing for it? :D

Yes, I've seen Paul perform a whopping six times actually. It was his New World Tour in 2002/03. I saw him 3 times in Las Vegas, had cool seats for one show - 5th row, wheew...it was awesome. Later on ran into Geoff Baker and Abe the Drummer at the MGM Grand, nice guy that one. I then went to England for a couple of months and was able to grab tickets for the London shows (2 nites in a row) and one up in Sheffield. Must say though, I enjoyed the concerts in Vegas best. If I have the chance to see him again, I'd do it in a heartbeat, no matter what the tix cost:)

Yes, i saw him once, in concert at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky., back in 1990. I was a reporter for a newspaper in Tennessee, and when I heard he was coming to Kentucky, I informed my editor that I'd be doing a story on Paul. : I got to go to the press conference held before the concert. I sat in the front row, right in front of Paul (about 8 feet away from him). His longest answer of the conference was to my question, "What do you do in your spare time?" (He spoke for about 10 minutes about his hobby of painting, and riding horses with Linda and playing with his kids). In addition to my media pass, I had a photo pass, so I got to take pictures at the front of the stage for the first 3 songs, then went to my seat and watched the rest of the concert. Out of the almost 3 hours he performed, the audience sat probably a total of 10 minutes. The rest of the time, we were on our feet. It was amazing! The energy in the arena was phenomenal. His performace was great. Everyone was high, high, high on the music (and probably some were high on other things. hehe) :) Oh, after the press conference, all the reporters ran up to him to get his autograph. I was one of the first ones there, so I was able to get him to autograph a pic for me and one for my cousin. And he asked me about my hand. It was in a cast because of carpal tunnel syndrome. I had to wear the cast for 6 months, and EVERYONE on the planet asked me, "What did you do to your arm?" I got really tired of people asking about it, but somehow, when Paul asked me about it, I didn't mind a bit. :

Well, I don't know if I feel happy for you or bad for myself. Hahahaha! Just kidding, it's great to hear these experiences! :) Are you a big fan, or you were simply doing your (GREAT) job?

I can understand the reluctance to be happy for me. hehe :) I'm not just a BIG fan of Paul's. I've been a TREMENDOUS, WHOPPINGLY HUGE fan of Paul's since I first saw him and The Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show when I was 4 years old. :) As actor Mike Myers said, "Paul is a god who walks among us." I fully agree. :)

I saw him in London around 1990. He was very good and played a number of Beatle songs. I remember him doing "Fool on the Hill" and his piano slowly spun around as he sang "round, round, round...."
