I have tried many detergents throughout the years, I've tried the strong detergents and weak ones. I've proven that Tide is better than those stronger detergents even for whites and colored. It does not let the colored prints fade, not like the stronger detergents which causes a fade out of prints in white printed shirts. It whitens shirt and does not fades the prints. I've tried it with my husband's uniforms which is a white polo shirt with colored embroidered logo. I've observed that when I was using the stronger detergent "A", it causes fading of the logo which my husband doesn't like so I switch to tide and viola... it did not cause any fading and it still whitens the shirt just like the strong one...

I can't use Tide, it causes me to itch and gives my hubby a rash. I'm glad it works for you though.

I was the same way but then I tried the tide liquid free for sensitive skin and I will never use anything else! I love it!

Maybe I should give that a try. I did switch to liquid detergents only. I also add one scoop of baking soda to every wash load while the tub is filling. This really gets the clothes clean and sweet smelling. Since I started adding baking soda to my whites washload I hardly ever use bleach any more.
