monogamy or being a realist?

they say that its better to have on man in your life - one love whom you should be faithful with forever. but then again, there's always the thought that you can't get all you want in one package, and we should be realists: not except one man to give all your needs.
at the end of the day, would you stick with good old faithfulness or would you go around with your choices?

i often have wondered the same thing. when it comes down to it, it all depends on what you are looking for. if you are looking for a person with whom you want to have a monogamous relationship, then that is what you should pursue. if you want to be a "realist" or "go around with your choices", then do that. each choice has consequences or sacrifices that you need to be aware of.

I could never share my bf with someone else and I could also not share myself with more than one person - atleast not if I am in love. I have abf now and i ,ove him deeply, I would never ever accept anything else than me beeing the only one for him.

Right now my boyfriend and i are in a non-exclusive realationship. We arent seeing other people but the option is there. We've known eachother for 9 months, been together for 3months and so far so good. I love him alot and when we decide to be exclusive I would stay 100% faithful to him. I do believe that if you are planning on marrying someone you should remain faithful no matter what. I do belive that when you're ready you should have one person in your life to "love, honor and cherish"

Friend it a good saying. But the truth is happiness matter so much than our needs. I mean if we get married to someone out there getting all we want without love and happiness I think it will mean nothing. Thanks and have a nice day.
