Hard to believe, but in '08, Dale Jr. will be leaving DEI. I personally, think this is heartbreaking as all of Jr's fans just naturally expected that Jr would be the ultimate owner of this team one day. True, all fans DON't know all the facts behind what had become of DEI other than what Jr and Theresa have told us, but I truly feel for Jr and only wish him the best of luck in whatever team he ends up with. For the sake of his own happiness and prosperity in his career let's all wish Jr the best of everything.
As far as predicting where he'll end up, who knows, but RCR is a strong possibility for this young and very talented driver. It's such a shame that Theresa and Jr couldn't have mended their differences, whatever they may have been...
JR. and all NASCAR fans out there, feel free to discuss how you feel about this HUGE NASCAR news and what you believe will happen come 2008 for Earnhardt Jr. and please...no TEI bashing!! Let's keep this professional and fun!

In all honesty it is not that hard to believe Jr. is leaving. If fans follow Jr's Busch team they would know he runs RCR motors in Huffman's car. The reason given for this was DEI wouldn't get their stuff in order and time ran out. Honestly I think since he will have his driver's points and basically built in sponsorships and since car owners have to lease their numbers from NASCAR who knows he might get that too. He should look into a newer team like Ginn racing or one of the other smaller Chevy teams. Especially since many of these teams get their motors from the likes of RCR, Hendrick and Gibbs.
Don't worry Jr. nation will survive
