Mine is Winter only because of where I live.
Here in Florida, Winter couldn't be more
beautiful. While the Sun may still beat down
strongly there is a cooling air that surrounds
you. Days and nights may range between 40-75
with the occasional 30 degree night or 80 degree
day.
Things seems to be less hurried during the Winter
rather than the 8 months of Summer. There is no
Spring or Fall. A big plus is dealing with fewer
insects while not dealing with the snow or bitter
cold that's associated with killing them. Winter
is mostly dry heat which is such a relief from
the humid wet heat of Summer. Finally, there tends
to be more wind in Winter which I love so much. Not
including the hurricanes.
How about you?

Sounds like your weather is a lot like
mine during the Winter. Here in north
Florida Summer is too hot. Winter is a
much more enjoyable season.

I like spring because the weather is not very cold and its not warm either. You can do anything in that season.

If Spring is what keeps a happymom happy
then give happymom1 Spring LOL. Spring
has the majority of folks in our country
happy. My Spring in Florida happens to be
Winter. The same scenario just by a different
name.

I love Spring - it is so vibrant and fresh.
I live near a national park in Spain and the flowers and blossom on the trees is amazing.
There is an almond grove opposite my house and the fields of pink blossom make me smile everytime I walk outside my front door.

Wow! It sounds like a beautiful painting.
I'd have a smile from ear to ear as well.
Other than the image of a painting I have
the thought of a colorful bouquet.

My favorite seaseon would be Spring. The weather is perfect. Not too cold, not too hot. Wind is blowing. Birds chirping. Flowers blooming. It just makes me so happy. I can't stand the Summer though. I live in Houston and gets so hot here. And then add on the horrible humidity and it feels even worse. Plus it's hurricane season. I'm stressing over that already. Hope it's not too bad.

Oh goodness, let's not talk about humidity
and hurricanes. These are two evils we share.
Ah, on a lighter note. We do share the wind
blowing, birds chirping and flowers blooming.
Amongst many other good things that Spring
brings. I only wish we had a little more of
the not too cold or not too hot in Florida.

My favorite season is Fall, I love looking outside and seeing all leaves falling from the trees. Oh and the colors are like a box of crayons..so many different colors. Its not hot or cold theres just a nice cool breeze flowing thru the air. I too live in Jersey and we get all 4 seasons..and I wouldnt have it any other way, we get the best of the best.

A Jersey girl. You already have my heart. Growing
up in Jersey I never quite looked at the falling
leaves as a "box of crayons." I love it. That's
going to be a huge box. Not the usual 64 colors.
Since I moved to Florida I almost forgot the special
Fall breezes that made nature rustle & bustle about.
You start to break out the slightly heavier clothes
or you go buy some for the new season.
We do or rather I did have it all. All four seasons.
Mountains (sort of), valleys (kind of), rivers, Garden
State Pkwy. he he, beaches, forests, etc. Culture
in Philly or New York. Elsewhere if you traveled a
bit further.
If I still lived in Jersey or moved back, Fall would
definitely be my favorite season. Want to go to the
shore? LOL

There are only two seasons here in the Philippines -- summer and the rainy season. I guess we don't have much of a choice. Nonetheless, I'd prefer the one which brings more happiness to students (no classes and cold days and nights) -- the rainy days.

Only 2 seasons, Summer & the rainy season.
That's what everyone keeps telling me who's
from the Philippines. I like your take on it.
The students need happiness so give them the
RAINY DAYS!!!!!!

Mine is winter also. I love the snow storms, the beautiful snow falling, and the snow play (boarding, skiing, tubing, ice skating, etc.). It tends to be so quiet and beautiful in the late evening when it's snowing and I tend to be a night person so I often will go for walks and enjoy the peace and beauty.

Mmmmmm, sounds wonderful. I'd love to be able to
do those things again considering I grew up in
New Jersey. The only problem for me is I can't
handle the bitter cold. Brrrrrrr! I go up for
vacation but that's enough.
I do miss the peace and beauty of snowy nights.
When the Moon shone on the snow it was never
totally dark. There is always a soft glow about
the night.

for me, this is a hard one between winter and summer. i like summer because i am in vacation longer than in winter and we go to mexico usually in summer. we also make a bbq in summer when my parents invite our family over. in summer nights do also give me good feelings. in winters the best things i like about them is christmas feelings. the holidays and the traditions we do every january like say about a week after new years. in this i cant decide but i would think both are the best.

Hey, nothing wrong with favoring both seasons.
You weather is much like ours. So I get the
idea that for you it's more about who you
spend it with. That's an excellent way to
look at it. Nothing beats being with family
no matter what season it is, right.

You're right, at least for those of us who
appreciate Winter. It's gives you a sense
of peace and comfort. Do you live in a part
of India that gets snow?
I know it varies greatly there as it does
here in the states.

Mine is and always will be fall. The colors are extroadinary and quite relaxing to me. I always try to make one road trip in the fall to a new place to see the changing colors

The colors are extraordinary, aren't they.
I never looked at Fall as relaxing, I like
that. It's true now that I think of it. Fall
does have that effect on me as well.
There's nothing better than discovering new
places with new sights.

Try to take a drive this year if you get a chance, it will be worth it, even if only a weekend. I'm actually booking New England this fall. A plane ticket to Boston, a night at Walden Pond and of course a car.

winters too. I do miss the beauty of it especially

heavier clothes but the winters are just too long
and cold. Brrrrrrrr.

I like rainy days, because I live in a tropical country. Almost 3/4 of the year is a rainy day. I love the cold breeze and I love seeing water falling down from our rooftop and seeing little children down the street playing while the rain is heavily pourin' out. I love seeing couple walking down the street under 1umbrella and I really think that's romantic.^_^.

I love rain as well. It is everything you
described and more. It sooths me. It lulls
me to sleep. It makes colors in nature more
vibrant after it ceases. And on... It is one
reason why I like Florida. Quite often when
we get rain it's only a quick downpour then
the Sun comes back out minutes later. During
the summer it's almost timed to a clock. The
Sun will be out, then about 3pm the rain will
come and by 4pm, or so, the Sun will return.

Now that's a straight forward answer.Have you
considered relocating to a climate that's more

I feel like I found my identical twin. Well as
far as the weather is concerned LOL. That's just
how I feel about Winter. I don't know how hot
your summers get but if you're like me, I can't
stand too much heat.
I can't take enough clothes off in Summer here in
Florida to cool off. I wish I could walk around
with no clothes. Then again, the Sun would burn me.

Hi there jumpinjack I would say I like the fall and the spring time. But I like the fall the most. Its the end of the long hot summer. I tend to get really tired of the hot and humid days. I like it when there is alittle chill in the air.

Hello Terryz the Jersey girl. Being originally
from Jersey I totally agree that Fall & Spring
are the most pleasurable. I too like Fall because
it's a relief from the unbearable heat & humidity
of Summer. Like you said, Fall has that nice little
chill in the air. It also signifies the start of the
holiday season. I do miss Fall in Jersey.

through the internet LOL. I know you're not
looking forward to the winters but nothing
beats the changes of the four seasons. If
Fall was the dominant season in New Jersey
I'd move back in a heart beat.
In the mean time we deal with the tolerable
Winter in Florida and bear the dog days of
the dreaded Summer.

My favorite season is Summer! I love the beach and we plan on moving to south florida next summer to be closer to my husbands family. I can't wait! I have lived in north Georgia my entire life and I hate the winters and springs here. Cold weather is not for me!

You'll love Winter once you move to south
Florida. I've vacationed in Miami and Key
West in Winter and it's like Summer anywhere
else. You've got a good deal to look forward to.
Enjoy you're husband's family and all the great
things there is to do.
Keep that AC cranked during the summer. Whew.

You need not say anymore. I grew up in North Jersey.
The Winter and Summer are opposing extremes plus the
smog. Spring and Fall gave us some sort of break.
Even though the smog never goes away completely.

Oh stop already. You bring me back to family visits
to Cambridge when I was growing up in New Jersey.
As a child it was great but I know the adults dreaded
the winter months.
You just brought back memories of 7 feet snow drifts
& blinding blizzards, bone chilling cold & rock salt
laden snow. Not to mention the low cloud level LOL.
There are the wonderful memories of Winter in MA and
NJ but I'm with you. Bring on the Summer!!
