What if you have to report a friend?

I am in MyLot for several months now and I have done a lot of friends here. We talk, help each other, have fun... A few days ago I realized that one of them starts discussions that are not according to MyLot regulation. He copies his discussions and he makes the same posts once a way and some times copies discussions that others started. Until now he was really supportive to me, but I don't feel good about what he is doing. What shouls I do? Should I reported to MyLot or not? Please give me an advice.

Perhaps you can try giving him a pm about it first and see what he has to say about it.

And is anyone on your friends list an actual friend? They are mostly likely just some random internet person. I don't think the "friend" status really holds any weight.

I would have reported him coz sooner or later someone will and he will be deleted. He will then when he leaves take alot of your points (from answering his discussions) with him and alot of people will loose points and money and that is not fair. If u wanna be nice, Pm him first and ask him to change and that what he is doing is wrong, if he doesnt change then report him!

As with a real-life friend, I would first talk with this person before reporting them. That just seems to be the most kind way to treat a friend. Of course, this person may then just sabatoge your posts on myLot...giving you negative hits. This is really a hard call.

I would probably pm first and tell him that you don't like what he has been doing. If he refuses to put a stop to it and continues regardless of what you have said, then report him. You should also inform your friends too because those who answered his discussions will also lose out in terms of the numbers of posts they have made and it could also affect their rating (if they are concerned about it!)

Now if it was something small like a Link in a post I might say let it pass as we have all done this before. Every now and then we can slip after all we are human right? But it is important and BAD that he/she is copying other peoples stuff and passing it off as his/her own. That is wrong. I know that you are worried because they are your friend but it isn't right. I would first talk to this person. I would tell them, "look, I know what you are doing and it is wrong. Now stop" and hopefully they will listen to you and can still be your friend and an active part of mylot however, if they continue to do these bad things even after you ahve told them to stop I would definitely report them. We don't need these types of people here in the online community.

it is your duty to report this to mylot admin or you can send him a message telling him to stop this thing. after all, those copied discussions will be deleted in due time. when this happens, even those who had committed the mistake of responding to those copied discussions will also lose the points and, the efforts at making those responses are all wasted. in fairness to everyone around here, please report him.

I know how hard it is for you. I start to feel close to some of my friends here. But rules are rules. I'm sure my friends would report me or at least let me know if I break the rules, but regardless they remind me or not, the discussion itself will be reported and deleted by mylot. If your friend has been here quite sometime they would know this automatically, that they shouldn't be reminded what breaks the rules and what doesn't.

Send a message to him telling him what he's doing wrong. If he doesn't change, report him. If the crime he's committing is related to a kind of fraud, such as leading people on to believe there is a bot that can raise earnings, then report him immediately.

i have to agree with jimbo, you should definately report him to mylot. why should he make money off of other peoples work. i have had brainfreeze for days i swear and i'm not copying others discussions. Cheating is terribly unfair to those who have honestly earned it.

I think that you should report him as well. It's sad that he feels he has to do this. I definitely question what type of person he is, and subsequently, what kind of friend he is.
