Vonnage is currently under litigation with Verizon. Apparantly Vonnage has been using patented technology for their voip solution. As of now Vonnage claims that they are in no danger of closing down. I have been a customer of Vonage for two years and think it's phenomenal. I like the low cost per month along with all of the services. Do you think Vonnage is right? What other VOIP solutions are out there that people have been using?

i don't use Vonage, but my boyfriend does. Your discussion here on MyLot was the first I ever heard of the litigation. I have no idea what they are doing, or what they are not doing, or whether or not they're breaking any laws. I hope it all works out.

I hope it works out too. The last I had heard Verizon was trying to make it so Vonage would not be able to get any new subscribers. Luckily Vonage was able to state their case that without new business the company would go under because they have such a high turnover rate with their subscribers. As of now it's still business as usual.
