Chinese and Filipinos

Just an observation i have. Why are all the big companies in the Philippines owned by the chinese? And the millions of workers are filipinos? It maybe our country but we surely don't run it. I have both chinese and filipino friends. Both groups have different kinds in them. There are rich chinese and filipinos. And there are also poor ones. The are preety much alike but what do chinese have that filipinos don't that make them rich? Some say its money, but with the example above, filipinos tend to lose thier money and chinese keep thier money and make more. Others say its because of talent or looks and even race but that is just a relly, really, stupid thing to say.
