I love travelling, whenever I can spare the cash. If possible, I'd like to go at least once a year but I think I can only scrap somewhere cheap this year. Dark clouds are up ahead and I think my both my budget and time will be shrinking in the months to come.

Not bad what, your company gives you free trip.
Where have you been with them so far?
Is it fun traveling with colleagues. I guess it boils down to how close you are to them. Do some people sometimes chose not to go?
I also can't stand long long flights. Unless someday someone sponsors me to fly business or first class (wait long long haha!).

I love to travel. I'd be traveling three or four weeks a month if I could afford it! I love to fly. And I am retired so I have the time. But retirement also has limited my income. So I save up for a year or two so I can take a really great vacation.
Last year we took a cruise up the inside passage of Alaska, rented a car and drove around sightseeing for another week and a half. It was grand and I loved it. So, I'm saving for another trip, hopefully in September, to South Dakota for several weeks.
And someday I'd like to take another cruise, to the Caribean. I do without some things in order to travel.

wow - alaska sounds great! Did you catch the northern lights? would love to go there someday but it's a really long way away for me.
did you see a lot of wildlife? I'd love to see alaskan wildlife. something totally different.
which countries in the carribean are you aiming for? i heard that most of them have beautiful waters and sandy beaches. I'm from a tropical nation, so warm sandy beaches are not so rare. not sure whether it's worth it travelling around the equator for the same climate and scenary. haha.

I am very keen on travelling. I travel whenever I have the time and budget for it. Some years I can have three trips away. For example I went to Turkey at Christmas time, Belgium for Valentine's day and the Seychelles for Easter. Another good year I went to the Maldives. Then I few months later I went to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. On a bad year I go on one one trip. In my younger days I did some longer trips like going on a year out around the world working in Australia. I also did a trip of a few months to New Zealand. If I feel I need a break I take a day out or a weekend away. But it is the foreign trip I look forwrd to most of all.

i'd love to travel once every quarter of the year, if possible. so that makes it around 4 times a year? lol. but yeah, due to work and money, i won't get to do that. usually i'll always end up travelling once a year, or twice, if i can. btw, does a weekend getaway considered as travelling too? hehe. i've gone for a weekend getaway trip last month and next week i'm going to Hong Kong :D can't wait! :)

Yup weekend getaways definitely count! Wow - you sound like you get to travel quite a lot, or for this year at least. sometimes a short weekend break is good enough to recharge. and it's easy on the pocket too. sometimes long trips are tiring in itself. after you land from the plane, you feel like you need another few days off work to recover.

i love travelling, be it by plane or ship or car
actually i think i need a break NOW
but can't due to budget constraints
all my money spent on renovating my new place liao
so think my next trip will be sometime in sep or oct
for the past few years, i try to take one long trip (six hours flight), one short trip (two or four hours flight) and a few road trips to KL / Genting every year.

If I could, I would like to travel every other month for leisure!
It would be nice to be visiting a new country or town in some country to expand our knowledge of what is outside of our home town. I find going to the office and back such a humdrum ! Trying out new cultures. Tasting new food. Meeting different people. Understanding their history... it is fun to travel!
Due to budget constraints, I will be very happy if I can make a trip out of home once a year!
