I hate to brag but I have a green thumb! That's how I knew I was going to be a good mother!!! LOL
Totally joking of course (especially to all that have kids but kill their plants! =)
But in all seriousness, my house is filled with plants and I have a garden on my porch! Our backyard isn't big enough for a dog and a garden so I have a bunch of things planted in pots and an earthbox on my porch!

WEll thank you! I think I have earned them!!!
One of my plants has been with me since 2000! I am VERY proud of that one. I was a supervisor at a call center and one of my agents had asked me to "babysit" this plant he had (it was very small at the time). He said he had gotten it from a friend and he couldn't have it at his desk so he asked me to watch it till he took it home. Low and behold I think he got fired like the next day or something! So I actually adopted this plant lol!

heehee shannon! i got two of my plants from work as well. i figured if they survived in the yuck lighting there at my desk, i could have them in my more nicely lit home, and probably not kill them, and they're doing fantastic just over 2 years later!

i used to grow some like aloe, cacti ,roses and teaflowers . I suppose these plants are easier to plant and the fact is not always so.Besides i grew some flowers which i can not name them in english.I LIKE cacti most since it needs not caring and works well itself.

I can't keep my plants alive either! And I don't know why. I make sure they get enough sun and water so I am not sure why they die on me. I usually have to have my mom come over and help me out cause she has a green thumb

I'm actually really lucky because I do have a green thumb, now. At first it seemed like my green thumb was broken but now it's just fine. I've actually been able to keep all of my plants alive through an 8 hour move, an awful hot summer and an additional 2 hour move. Actually, my spider plant just keeps having more babies. Outside, I've never had a problem growing flowers or herbs but veggies and I do not get along.

I used to be real bad with plants, but I am much better now. I believe being able to grow plants is more of a skill than it is a talent. Over the years, I have gotten better with herbs for instance, because I have spent so much time with them. Vegetable gardening is something I am still not great at, but give me some time and I will improve (I hope).
There are still some plants I have no luck with, roses for instance--though it might not be my fault; recently I learned that roses do not like to grow black walnut trees (I have two large black walnut trees in my front yard), so I might be innocent on that front.

I have a green thumb, if I dip it in lemon-lime kool-aid or color it with a green marker lol. Seriously, I cannot keep a plant alive to save my life. I can't even manage to grow grass in my backyard and it isn't for a lack of trying. I have a place in my front yard that is kinda like a flower box, well since I can't keep anything alive (flower and plant wise) I cheated. I bought colorful fake flowers and in the spring I go out there "plant" them. They look great and I don't have t worry about them dying.

Not sure, some plants thrive some die or get eaten by slugs and snails, I do believe negative thoughts can kill plants, think it will die and it will, think positive and happy thoughts and they stand a better chance of surviving, also keep on trying and you will develop a green thumb or fingers, Remember experience it what we call our mistakes.

I don't have a green thumb, and I hate even working with plants. My wife loves to plant flowers and shrubs and whatnot. I can't stand it.
