No way! I am the person that has 5 blankets on and wearing a sweatshirt to stay warm. I try to crank up the heat but my hubby always turns it down so I have to use extra blankets.

lmao ~ and I thought it was only my husband that did this! I wonder if he is trying to drown me out or if it is really the breeze?! :) I am always the one that is covered up with about 3 blankets no matter what the weather.

I am not sure why you have to do this ? you said only like the cool breeze, but you could open the window sometimes and get the cool wind via this method.
I can understand your husband and if you can put up with no- electric fan , try to do it .
it is not good for your healthy to use an electric fan on in the Winter .
keep a good healthy.

Opening the window is not nearly the same as the air from the fan. First of all the window air is just plain cold in the winter, and it doesn't make that humming sound which puts me to sleep o' so many nights. The fan is not necessarily because i'm hot, I mean...I can have 5 blankets + the fan, but i MUST have that air on my face and that humming sound if i want a nice night.

No, I don't mostly because I am scared of my kids sneaking into my room and putting their fingers in, yes I am that paranoid! My brother sleeps with them every night of the year. When he travels he takes his fan with him. He likes it for the noise, not for the breeze.

yes we do. my hubby needs some kind of noise, as do i now, and i get so hot all the time in bed, no matter what time of year it is, my feet always dangle out of the covers, so it helps me sleep. the coolness and the noise. we've gone thru a couple of fans now, cuz they eventually wear out!

I keep a fan going all winter as well and yea i would drown out the other half when he is snoring too so i guess that is just another benefit. I keep a fan going on low in the winter to keep the air circulated i find the air in the house so dry and stale in the winter with the house all closed up keeps me from getting all stuffed up.

I need my fan to even think about sleeping. For some reason the white noise helps lull me to sleep. There have been a few nights when our electric was out and I didn't sleep at all. It was too quiet except for the buzzing sound in my ears which just about drove me nuts. I also sleep better when it is cooler and the fan helps.

We don't have a fan on, but for awhile when i was growing up i did, but it was mainly for the steady noise. I think my mom sleeps with a fan on and I know they open their window a lot when they are sleeping even when it is cold out.
