New to eBay -- Any Tips?

I'm planning on selling a lot on eBay this summer to make some extra money and to get rid of some of the stuff that's taking up space in my room. Does anybody have any tips about selling on eBay? Is anybody a powerseller? Does anyone make their income off of eBay sales?

I find it gets more interest in starting the price low as you attract more watchers.
In the information at the bottom I always say that I don't take any responsibility if the item is lost in the post system - I offer registered mail and it is up to people as to whether they choose to take it or not.
Use the free picture so that people can see what they are bidding on.
