chicken pox

my 1 year-old baby is sick with chicken pox right now and it worries me a lot. some adviced that i have to got o a doctor, while the others say that its not needed (it will heal anyway). which should i follow? do you know some treatments or over-the-counter medicines?

Well, I'm not sure for Western Country, but for my family, people who sick with chicken pox can't eat anything connected with 'BEANS' and no egg for sure. And be sure your baby didn't scratch the chicken pox. However, if you still worry for the baby, you are encourage to visit the doctor.

Honestly, I'm surprised people told you not to take your child to the doctor. I would understand if he were older, but at 1 he hasn't had nearly enough time to adequately build up his immune system. Either way, chicken pox is a virus that killed only a few decades ago, so take him to a doctor anyway even if he's had his shots.
