Before the draft, I was thinking Johnson from GA Tech or Russell. I heard a rumour about a Moss for Packer's QB Jason Campbell trade possibility that I thought might happen. In that case, Johnson would have been the best pick or a trade would have been in order. Because the trade never happened, I think Russell was the right pick. Was there another, better QB available? And, QB HAD to be the pick at that point: the Raiders are trying to build an offense... Short answer, NO, not a mistake.
