Weekend get-a-way...

Ok, let's say you are going on a small trip. You will be gone for two days, back home on the third. How many different outfits do you take along with you? I can never decide what to take. Do you have the same problem? What clothes do you consider a necessity? Plus, do you carry several pairs of shoes with you too?

For a trip of that length I think I would pack three outfits plus pajamas and extra underwear. I always have such a hard time deciding what to pack for trips though! For some reason it's very hard to plan clothes days ahead of time for me, since I usually pick what to wear each morning.
Depending on what I am wearing and where I am going, sometimes I will bring extra shoes, but I usually try to plan things so I only need one pair of shoes.
