This is just a reminder for all Canadians out there that tomorrow is the 15th of May and the one day Canada wide pump protest for Gas prices.
Over the weekend here in Vancouver, our prices soared to a staggering $1.30 a litre! The Lower Mainland is suffering, we're paying the highest gas prices in the country.
A full report can be found at the following link.

Myself and my partner are taking part in the protest. At work today, my partner and all the other drivers made sure to fill their gas tanks in their trucks so they don't have to fill up tomorrow. Their boss fully supports the boycott.
A report has suggested that we're paying 27 cents more than we should be. I urge all Canadians out there to boycott the pumps tomorrow (Tuesday the 15th). Gas prices have gone WAY beyond ridiculous, and we as consumers need to fight back.

I'm in all the way. We aren't paying as much as you are in the small town I live in. We're faced with 1.20 a litre, but that's too darn much too. I had to go to the city yesterday for a doctors appointment and what gas is in the car is all I'll have for the next few days. I didn't rush out to fill the car because the way I see it if I do that the gas companies are still making off of me. I plan to carry this No Car Purchasing for a few days. I've had to make harder sacrifices than this in my 56 years of being on this planet and I truly think it's time we all band together on this gas issue. Here in Saskatchewan it's a natural resource in our country we absolutely should not have to pay this ridiculous price.

LOL That should read I plan to carry this No (GAS) not (Car). Just goes to show I get pretty worked up over the price of gas. I just like to say too that for people outside of Canada when we say we pay 1.20 be aware that's a litre not a gallon.
