Have U rated USERS from others DISCUSSIONS??????

I know most of us do rate ppl who reply to discussion as i do too!
But recently i have also started rating ppl who has replied to my frnds discussion..ofcourse only if i like what is written by them...but i do, and feel good about it , cos there are lot of ppl in 8's n 9's from long time and they need to be brought up to the blue club..cos they deserve it!!
SO, DO yo rate People who has replied to other posts?? Wat do u think about it?? Is rating important or just posting as much as u can is mylot all about?? Ur take ~~~

As long as I read through any discussion and respond, I rate them regardless of who responds. I rate them as I go along so that I know I had read it and helps me zoom to the next page if I am following the responses to a discussion. For those which I do not read or stop to browse, I would not specifically zoom in to rate.

Ideally, you should rate the users of every discussion you read. I think rating users increases their earnings but I'm not totally sure, the same goes if they receive best response, it increases their earnings because it shows they are valuable users of the site.
I've been rating every post that I actually read.

Oh I didn't realise you could do that! I have read lots of responses where they have been good and hadn't realise that I could do that ..thanks karvin, i'll have to remember now!

Yes I have. Not usually of course. I normally won't read discussions unless I am replying to them. (Minus to quick scan of course.) But if I find something really good or bad yet I don't want to reply to them, I will still give them the respective pluses or minuses.

Yes, I rate people even if they are not on my friend list - if I read their response to a discussion and I am impressed with the answer - I will rate it. I think that it is only fair. As I just rated your discussion! :)

You are a good friend on mylot, I try to do the same as well, if i see an exceptionally good response I will rate it even if it wasn't in my discussion.

I always rate my discussions and all responses, not just best response. I always give a positive rating as long as they were not being extremely nasty.
