Whats the weirdest sandwich you have ever eaten??

This stems from a discussion I just responded to about eating condiments on their own. In that discussion I mentioned that my husband liked to eat "Sugar Sandwiches" - bread with butter and sugar on it. I still think its crazy. My "weirdest" sandwich I eat quite frequently is banana and sugar on white bread. Its great! The other one I used to do when I was a kid was ketchup on buttered bread - the things youll eat when your a kid!!
So whats the weirdest sandwich you ever ate??

On our training for C.A.T. Officers when i was in high school, part of our training is survival. They let us eat a toothpaste sandwich. They let us finish the whole sandwich so that no punishment will be done. It was really a tough experience we have.

Never considered these wierd,staple diet in the 50,s when food was rationed, Bread and beef dripping with loads of salt was a teatime favourite then as well, note salt was good for u then !! Chip butties, crisp butties quite popular as well. Suppose I am weird then

tks for response, a buttie is uk slang for bread and butter with a filling of your choice. Bacon butties are a firm favourite with most people in the uk.Another slang term is "sarnie". regards

LOL.. that's my daughters favorite snack... ketchup on bread..
I absolutely love sandwhiches. Anything tastes great when you put it between two slices of bread.
I'm not sure about weirdest sandwhich though. Maybe peanut butter and cheese whiz. It's actually alot better tasting than it sounds.. LOL..

I sometimes eat the spicybbqsauce sandwich. I used to eat the porkandbean sandwich back in the day as a little kid. :)

oh i HAD to respond to this... banana in bread is so not abnormal and neither is ketchup on bread.. those are good faves for when i grew up lol
weirdest for me would have to be coleslaw and vanilla icecream between bread.. at the time it was good? lol
