Can India become Superpower?

WEll .. I think that this wave of India being able to become a super power has just started ... I think 5-6 years back .... Looking at our economical developement ... and our current growth rate ... India has the potential to become ONE OF the Superpowers .... lets say ...by 2020-2030 ....It sure is possible ... cannot deny the fact ... Bharat mata ki jai ... ;-

each country have a same chance to be superpower, its only depend on how the country and all of the people try to get it as fast as possible. india is a big country, with more then 1 billion citizen, have a good culture and famous in the world and have a nuclear technology, i think with all of that india can be a great country. but stop the war first, reduce the amount of poor people and improve the educations quality. maybe in 20 years later, india will be the greatest country in the south asia.

Before becoming a super power India should become a developed country. Developed in every sence. People should have houses and employment. Education should be made compulsory amd totally free in the primary level. Illiterecy should be wiped off. Road, rail and such infrastucture should be increased and maintained well. After that we shall becone a super power. In the economic scene India's prospects are very bright. The growth rate is very high. So we have every possibility of becoming an economical super power. But our liabalities and burdens at home are plenty. We have to settle them. It is a great responsibility.

The USD exchange rate is 40INR now. Few years back it was more than 50INR. Hundreds of Indians are in most rich persons in the world. Richest person in Broton is an Indian. Britain was ruling us just 60 years back. But if we can't control the inflation then India's low cost tag will disappear.

i guess india should stop thnking abt a super power. rather it should see to it tht watever funds the governament is lending is reaching the masses and its fully properly used for the right wrk. there should be development at the root level and thn think of being globally a developed nation.

i don't think so, it's the americans will be last superpower. indians won't be able to do that because look!!! chinese is more populated than india if chinese won't able to do that how much more indians. chow

Super powers are a product of powerful minds tht harness the power of technology to propel thir economic, political and military might. India is currently a second world that is in the fringes of first world. In my country, all severe heart conditions are taken not America, Russia, Germany or UK, but to India! They have the most Potent Pharmacitical in the world, they have a nuclear arsenal, and have one of the largest armies in the world! Politically India is a Democracy and very well organized with powers fully separated! It is just a matter of time before India is the super power of the world!
