In my question there is a man (Jim) who just came from the market and he bought a goat, a wolf and a bag full of cabbage! Now to go back home Jim needs to cross a river and luckily he got a boat but in his boat; Jim can only bring either the goat/wolf/gabbage in the boat with him one at a time... and Jim must always be present in the boat! How will Jim cross that river? Keep in mind that; JIm cannot leave the wolf and the goat alone because the wolf will eat the goat. he cannot leave the goat and the bag of gabbage on one side because the goat will eat all the gabbage!
Can you help Jim to cross that river so that he can reach to the other side of the river to go back home!

First, Jim has to bring the goat across the river, leaving the wolf and the bag of cabbage. Then he goes back. Next, he takes the bag of cabbage across the river. Then the man goes back, taking the goat with him. After this, he takes the wolf across leaving the goat behind. Then he goes back again, leaving the wolf with the bag of cabbage. Finally, he takes the goat across.
