In islamic rule if we want to marry a girl we have to prepare the dowry (kind of gift), in my culture (Javanese-Indonesia) the dowry is discussed by both, the boy's family and the girl's family, in order to both side are not disappointed, in my marriage my dowry was Rp. 50.00 of money equivalent $ 5.2 and a set of prayer equipment, the dowry means for the girl is so meant, because it is the truly of the man who want marry the girl. And what is your dowry when you marry your girlfriend?
