what you mean by a help less stage .there is know such stage as a help lss stage in ones life .if you think that one should fall ill in old age ,i cant agree with you if you eat the right kind of food suitable to our body .ie,veg and fruits,nuts the chances of being bedridden at old age will be less or may be not will arise at all.if you are saying that my parents dont like those things they wont eat that thing ,that mean you are compromising with them and allowing them to commit the sin and you are leading them to a bed ridden stage at old age .also i dont think people who has got pride in themselves want somebody to help them or depending on somebody.so if them want to have pride ,its their choice to lead a healthy life. but what ever i am saying i learned methodes of self healing by reading a lot about naturopathy and i have advised my parents a lot eat this ,dont eat that ,but they are not listening to me ,what i am going to do is when they feel sick ,i will do my self healing methodes on them and try to cure it.rather than helping them and let them eat what ever food they eat.for details visit. www.drbass.com

i would definitely take care of them. and not solely for the reason that they took care of me wen i was small. i would do it becoz i love n respect them and its the only way i can give back to them for everything they have done for me. :D

It depends. If they would have each other, and understand good, then I would never put them in a home. But if they wouldn't feel right, I would place them in a nice home for aged people. There they could find friends, and live in a community. It all depends to what they want.

i will never leave my parents in any old age home...they have given me their love throughout and now its my turn to..i hate people who cannot take care of their parents and run away from their responsibilities..

My parents wanted to move to an apartment in a home about ten years ago and they did. They like it there, they get service. The place is being cleaned, they get a cooked dinner there and they have lots of events like concerts or outings and they have a taxi service that takes them everywhere they want to go to now that they don`t drive anymore. They have a store there, a barber, a swimming pool, a restaurant. I have to work to make a living and I am happy that I do not have to clean their apartment. But I go there in my spare time and do everything that is necessary to make their lives comfortable. So this is a solution my parents found, they like it. I do take care of them and they are in a home.
