stress and strain in daily life

I have seen many people stressed , due to heavy work loads , or some personal matters .
And at that time they need someone who will try to understand their problem , just listen to them , so they can talk thair hearts out.
But we dont have time for them , they may be our family members , friends , colleagues, or some one we know .
Its becoming a fast paced life and stress is common , but seems we all have different ways of tackling with it , some listen to music , some watch a movie , some read a book .
People try to get rid of stress as much as possible , in their own way , but some people just cant handle stress .
Its like they want everything perfect , if anything gets out of place they feel the stress, feel the tension building inside them.
Is there no way we can reduce the stress part in our life , we try yoga , meditation , just to get rid of stress, and stay fit.
But still its a body with emotions , and as soon as we see a big problem or some one close to us is in trouble , we may feel the stress and the strain.
And the life what we are living now is so much fast its a kind of race for everyone, and seems that could be the reason for our daily stress and strain.
