I feel it was no individuals mistake but it was the mistake of the team as the whole including the coach. They had a strong lineup thought will makeup to atleast semi-finals. But atlast screwed up. Only problem I could find was the lack on confidence in them. It was the result of having a "series of BAD SERIES" . Now that they could conquer the tournament against bangladesh why not in the world cup ? The mistake lies in the team as a whole. Hope they atleast perfom reasonably in the next world cup...

I would say it is a combination of all the above which has lead to the decline of indian cricket and main culprit is the so much money involved in it and everyone is running behind it and nobody (even the players) are interested in playing the game well.
