Just found out i'm pregnant!

Hey all!! I just wanted to share this unbelievable joy i feel right now! I just found out i'm pregnant!! Me and hubby had been trying for almost a year now, and finally, it worked!! Now i'm just hoping all will go smoothly until the end.

Congratulations, i hope everything goes smoothly for you & that you have a happy, healthy baby boy or girl :)
You're still very lucky it takes some people a LOT longer than a year to get pregnant. It took my partner & years to fall pregnant - we were finally lucky enough in August 2005 & then she was born in June of 2006 :)
Try not to stress yourself out, keep doing everything you normally would & everything will be great.

Thanks for your comment. Will try my best, but the stress thing isn't a myth; doctors even suggest to their smoking patients, to at least reduce to 5 a day if they can't quit totally, because of the stress the mother will feel. It's unfortunate that your friend had 4 bad pregnancies, i'm sorry to read that.

First off, congratulations! I'm very happy for you.
Second, I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that it's great that you've decided to cut down on smoking while you're pregnant, but the idea that quitting completely puts stress on the baby is a myth. It might feel stressful to you because you have those cravings, but whenever you inhale the smoke, the effects are felt by the baby immediately through the umbilical cord. So quitting cold turkey will take a lot of pressure off the baby and prevent low birth weight, decreased oxygen and potential defects. (my best friend's step mom smoked through all four of her pregnancies--one was born mentally challenged, another is schizophrenic, another was born disfigured and needed surgery and the last was still-born.)
I know you want this pregnancy to be as healthy as it can be, so from this day forward everything you do needs to be about that baby, from smoking to what you eat to how much exercise you get. See your doctor and work out a plan that will assure that your baby gets the very best from you.

I'm so happy for you, congratulations. It always seems that it takes forever for the people trying to get pregnant and the people that aren't gets pregnant very quickly. I wish you the best and hope for you to have a healthy pregnancy. Once again,CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS, that is wonderful, I know with my second born that it was not as easy to get pregnant as it was my first and so I had to take fertility pills for almost 6 months before I was blessed and I remember the feeling of joy when I found out. You are blessed with such a wonderful joy, love it, experience it, and feel all the wonders of this pregnancy cause in the end you will receive the best blessing of all, your child.

That is a very good news indeed. I am hoping for the best in your journey to pregnancy. That will be a tough nine months to endure. Be strong for your baby. If these is your first baby then you'll have to be extra careful with it as this is your first journey to motherhood. I am pretty sure you'll enjoy everything along the way especially you and your hubby have waited that long to get one. I too am hopeful that we could get our second one soon.

Yeah!! Congrats! I understand how hard it can be struggling with that! I had alot of problems getting pregnant with my son and once I got pregnant I was waiting for something bad to happen, but it never did and I have a healthy, happy two year old little boy!! Congrats and take it easy for awhile!!!
