It was $3.05 on Sunday but I'm pretty sure it went up again since then. I try not to look anymore! Back when gas was in the $2.50 range it would cost around $60-65 to fill my van and sometimes that would only last a week.

I don't like the van one bit! And for plenty of other reason beside the horrible gas mileage too BUT yes, we have a large family...We don't often have everyone together at the same time but altogether there is 10 of us! Me, my s/o, his 2 oldest, my 3 oldest and our 3 together. 15mpg doesn't last long when everything is 30 miles away!

It was $3.29 per gallon here yesterday. It probably went up again. I know my sister said it went up 9 cents where she lives. My husband put gas in the truck yesterday and paid over $60. It's way too expensive. But there's not much we can do about it. I rarely leave base as it is. He does when he has to, and once every week to week and a half, we all go offbase to go shopping 20 miles away.

here we pay around $2 for one liter reg unleaded. I think you pay far too little for gas. I feel that people should try to minimize their driving, and choose cars that use as little gas as possible. Ideally they should choose cars that run on other fule than gas. The future of the world is at stake here. I know we will not solve all the problems by cutting our personal use of gas - but it will help. as people are not making wise decitions without a bit of pressure in this field I think higher gas prices is one of the things we should concider.

Where I live gas is $3.19 a gallon. It just went up another nine cents yesterday. I just spent the weekend in the southern part of Kentucky where the most I paid for gas there was $2.89 a gallon. When we bought our vehicles we chose ours by how many people it would fit as well as how many miles we could get to the gallon. We live in a small town so I have to drive to the bigger town for work everyday so I use about $30 a week to get back and forth to work. We drive as little as we possibly can.

oh believe me i know this. i use to work for a gas comp before i became a stay at home mom. The only way to fight it is to try and use as little of it as you can. They know we can not go with out it and untill then it will always be high!!
