I really think that since John Cena is the WWE Champion and he's being conditioned as the babyface for the company, the Heavyweight Champion should be a heel. That being said, I think that Edge is the perfect person...
As far as postponing the match, they probably couldn't have done that. Undertaker will be out 6-8 months and they needed to get him recouping as soon as possible. It made it easier for them to get out of the programs with Undertaker and Mr. Kennedy (also out with injury).
I think Edge/Batista will work a program for a while, with maybe Mark Henry playing a role in it as well.

You are damn right coz when you think about it, it will be sometime before Edge x Batista scenario comes 2 an end. I do wish 2 see some change in Raw as well. Thank you for the reply.

i think he will no get it back
because mark henry might interfere and batista may shift his concentration on henry who was responsible 4 his title
loss due to injury

I guess probably something like that will happen. I am not quite sure what would happen but if Batista gets involved in a long series of battles against Henry i think it's about time 2 have Booker T back and it will be battles and bouts between Edge and Booker T until SummerSlam or Servivor Series where Edge loses his title. Honestly i would love 2 see Edge lose the gold at next Wrestlemania to the Undertaker. Thank you both for the responses.

I am positive he wont get it back it will be so damn stupid and a good waste of the mitb contract if edge looses it with in two weeks I would be so pissed off I dont want to see Batista as champion for awhile I want edge to have a long lengthy reign as champion I want him to hold it at least for the summer maybe untill survivor series or untill undertaker takes it back from him.

I think that Edge will retain the title and this rivalry will go on for a while, with no other "big" guys left in smackdown, for the title, I guess this is the only way to go. But then Batista could win it too, and they could still have a rivalry going on. Although I do think that Batista might be a little too slow for Edge, if you know what I mean...
So, I'm gonna say Edge, although it could be the opening for the entrance of someone who's been out of action for a while and set to return, now that Undertaker is out of the picture. Also the big Red machine, Kane doesn't seem to have any rivalries these days, maybe he could somehow play into this story....

You might have something there, as annoying as booker T got when he became the "king", he still is a good wrestler and great in the ring. Well, judgment day did go along with my predictions, but now it's "one night stand" time, I really enjoy that pay-per-view. It gets so bloody. This time they'll be in a cage match right? Edge and Batista. Now that's something to watch. Edge is always great with extreme rules matches. That will be something to watch.

Well you are right but i don't think the wwe management wants 2 market Kane. It has been years now since he had the gold. And you are right. Aside from Batista, Edge, Kane and maybe Benoit, there are no big guys left in Smackdown well maybe if Booker T returns he'll make a difference.

I hope so. I never liked Edge, especially now with his Rated R antics. I'd like Batista get the title again and dominate smackdown. The cage match between batista and the undertaker seems to be an exit scene for the undertaker to heal his wounds. That's why it had to be done even if it's not on a pay-per-view event.

I definitely feel that Batista will win the title back as Edge has no chance of winning. Batista is going to beat Edge all over the place. It should be a good match, though Edge really doesn't deserve to be champ. I think he left Raw because of Khali being there. There is no way Edge could beat him either and he probably ran scared. It would have been nice if the steel cage match had been moved to Judgement Day but the fans could not wait.

Batista beats the living hell out of Edge, no doubt about that. But honestly it won't be easy for him 2 get the title back. I am not quite sure what Edge is probably hiding for Batista, and what would Mark Henry do. Let us see. Thanx 4 the response.

I think Edge will retain it for a bit, then mabye Batista will keep it for a while. I then think when Undertaker returns after injuries, he will getnit back by Wrestlemania 24, possibly adding Edge to his list.

batista will beat the hell out of edge,spinebuster him...powerbomb him and...when he's about to pin edge...mark henry will interfere causing batista his match......and post judgement day we'll see batista feuding with mark henry....so who will feud with edge???

I think Batista will win the championship back and i hope now that mark henry is back, he will get his revenge on him. In the first place Mark Henry was the reason why Batista surrender his championship title. Its Pay Back Time!!!!

Thank you for the response but it would be a bit hasty scenario if Batista wins now i don't know. Mark must pay the price and i guess Batista and The Undertaker are longing for that. Now the deadman is away for awhile i guess it is Batista's turn to get his revenge.
