I have recently started potty training my 2 1/2 year old son, because he got to the point where he would take off his diaper anytime it got wet or messy. So I figured he was ready, but I am not having any luck with getting him to use the potty chair. So does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to let him understand that is what the potty chair is for.

What I did with my daughter to get her potty trained is I went out and bought her special underwear just for her and toldhe rthat they were big girl undies for big girls. I also told her that the only way she could wear them was to go on her potty. My husband and I had her trained in 2 weeks. All we are workingon now is bed time which for now is no big deal for us.
