A second chance at Love.... Its a thought that has crossed everybody's mind at least once. Love is lovelier the second time around. But this is only for does who have forgotten and forgiven whatever mistakes that happen in the past. Why not gave a second try if both of the parties realized that love, respect and trust is still present. Despite and inspite of everything, of all the hurtful things done, painful words heard and said. As long as you feel that the intentions are sincere, why not. Just don't live with the past but learn from it and avoid comiting the same mistakes coz it will just ruin a lovelier relationship ahead.

I met a guy who really swept me off my feet. I fell in love hard & fast, and amazingly enough, he fell for me hard & fast, too. We were together for several months, when I got it into my head that because my ex-boyfriend wouldn't leave us alone, and because I was sick & my doctors weren't sure why, I was more trouble than I could ever be worth. I broke up with him and didn't talk to him again for nearly a year. I never got over him. He eventually got my attention in a fairly ... shocking way, and he made it clear that he at least wanted to be able to be my friend. At least. ;) Heh. We're together again, and I've learned my lesson about making up his mind for him! On the flip side of that coin, the ex-boyfriend who wouldn't leave us alone? Well, stupid me, I wound up giving him another chance. He never forgave or forgot anything, and trying to make it work with him was painful, to put it mildly. So, do I believe in giving love a second chance? ABSOLUTELY - but you *have* to be willing to forgive & forget. You can't throw whatever "wrongs" you were done back in the other's face all the time. You can't keep living in the past and being afraid the same "wrongs" will be done to you. It's infinitely difficult to give love a second chance if there is no "forgive & forget." Impossible, more accurately. At least, that's my 2 cents. :)

Hi Shelbs, I think your boyfriend didn't deserve to have another chance because he can't treasure and be happy that you forgive him.
