92143 members, that's why we are getting less money

Here is another reason for the points going down. If MyLot were to post earnings, and continue to pay that amount as the members grow on here, they would go out of business. So for the profit range to stay up for them, they must pay out less. The way they do that is by deleting and making our points go down. Also, by not posting what they pay, so they can do whatever they want. So my dear friends, now you should understand, as I do, what is going on here. I hope these two posts have helped you. God bless you.

I haven't thought about that. That could be what's happening. Have you heard from mylot yet?

Nothing. You know they never respond. It's just the people turning in and giving - and ! that is doing it sugar. Not a clue why they are doing it to us.

I thought it was kinda funny that they never posted anywhere what the pay is. But I guess it was smart for them since it is not in writing they can pay whatever they want.

Let me see if I understand this correctly...because myLot is getting more members, they are having to pay out more? So to prevent from having to payout more, they delete discussions? Hmmm...wouldn't they be earning more with more members? Then the ratio would be the same no matter how many members....wouldn't it? Unless myLot is getting money hungry. Because according to myLot...they stated that they reallocated earnings to discussions that are not deleted. I had just read this discussion last night created by myLot. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/436025.aspx But I guess since it was created 6 months ago...things could have changed. I am not sure what to think. But that is food for thought Margieanneart.

Many of the members don't post. I am posting less than when I joined the board. I am no longer motivated to post, as only earned 5 cents yesterday. If I really need to earn money, then I should join other sites to make money. I keep having posts removed and no reason is given to me, so clearly mylot doesn't care less about giving answers to me.

I think you are so right about them decreasing the payout due to the high amount of members here. I don't see where they can make a lot of money because it looks like ebay is there only sponsor that I can see.

Yes, with all of the New people joining here all of the time, and posting on here, that is a Great reason why many people are earning a lot less in here than they used too. The big problem then is the people who choose to give up as well. I know it is Slow going here, and I have earned less some months more than others, but I know if I want to cash out each month, I can do it. I just myself need to be Active here, and prove I can do it. I have made a lot of Friends here, and know many others have too.

It seems quite logical. Sites who are not popular tend to attract new members with higher earnings, bonuses or whatever. This site is getting more and more popular, so they can lower payment. Even if there are a lot of inactive members here, there are still more than enough users to keep this place crowded.

I see what you mean. I have noticed that we are getting paid less and also noticed a lot of others ratings has gone too.I have been finding it very frustrating to stay on mylot what with the less money, points, people copying other member's discussions and plain out rudeness. My friends are the ones that keep me coming back.

I don't think there's any need to post the same thing three different times, in slightly different writing.

yes, this 100% true and i totally agree with you that they are giving us less money because if they give us more they would have to give to all the my lot members which are alot and increasing day by day and they would run out of money and their business would be finished, but ireally don't like trhe reputation system because in this system all the mylotters change the reputation which can be wrong because if no one see your post no one would add reps, i think it should be changed by the admin. what u think?

No it's not like that from the time mylot has modified their site from that time mylot have started paying very less to their members, i have noticed that from when before they used to atleast give 4-5 cents for each post written in 3 lines but now if you awrite a lot also still they give you 2-3 cents, it's quite less but i don't know why they are doin this to us.

I do make less money than when I joined mylot. I emailed them yesterday to ask why people lose points. So far, no answer. It makes sense what you are saying though.

yes money rate transfering is decreasing day by day ......and you might be right as the income giving is decreasing day by day .,....mylot people are increasing ......more then hundred thousand people ....they are making it like a very crowded space !! here ....may be but the site owners generating a lot of money ....more posts will make them more money as the page refreshes one bu one ....by every one ...this will surely help them in there income incrased but why is our income decreasing !! .....or lowering ....

Their memberbase does grow every day. I hope this is not the reason why our earnings are going down. That would be awful. Maybe they should have cut off the memberbase of new members joining a while back to keep existing members happy and keep the site going strong. I have noticed that there are alot of inactive members now. I think members are leaving asnew ones are coming in. I will stya with Mylot though and see how everything goes. I hope we get the earnings we used to make here, back soon.

Even though there are 90000+ members here on myLot, I wonder how many of them are actually active members in the long run. It's so easy for someone to sign up in hopes of thinking they will earn some quick buck. However, when they find out that this is not a get rich quick scheme, the members (in particularly the very new members) bail out on myLot. I don't think myLot deletes inactive accounts. They should so that we can get a better understanding of how many REAL members are on myLot. I think only a third of the total amount of members are actually active.
