We say “Adaab” for hello and “subho bakhair” for good morning. As concerned with prounounciations it is some thing vocal and relates to voice. These are the words of Persian language, but are adopted by Urdu. We also used Arabian world “Assalam o Alaikum” or “salam: in short, which means “may peace be up on you.

In my language(Chinese), it is like this, "nihao, zaoshanghao!” But in modern world , people say "nihao"in formal occasions, usually young people just very casually say something instead of this phrase.
