Do U have windows or linux

i have vista on this computer. on another one we had vista and we took the computer back because it kept messing up and then it finally ended up crashing. it was just one major problem after another. but with vista it stinks because there are a lot of programs that are not compatabile (i know i spelled that wrong) with vista.

I have Mepis, Sabayon and Xubuntu along with WinXP. I do not agree that Linux is inefficient, for a home user like me who just writes a few articles, and makes a few presentations, and surfs the net and transfers photos from the phone to the computer and watches movies, I did not find it inefficient at all. In fact, I find Sabayon the biggest value for money distro.

I have current Window XP Profeessional informed in my computer. Previously I had Windows Millenium in my computer. I feel Linux is also good . It has its own Unique features. I feel comfortable with both the environments. I have found features unique to both and absent in the other. As far as security is considered , Windows has much more security features but people find , Linux safer as it has less number of viruses trying to harm it there by they feel linux safer...

Most of our computers have Windows XP Pro on them. But we do have one machine that is running Ubuntu. I'm just now getting used to using it. It's very user friendly and I'm almost starting to like it more then Windows. But I have to have Windows to be able to play my games lol.

i have both, linux fedora core 6 and windows xp pro sp2. No doubt that linux is more stable than windows, linux is nice too for desktop; gaming (but not all gaming supported) watch movie. I have mac emulator on my desktop too, sometimes i want to use mac but don't have money to buy it *lol*

well i had one problem with vista. and i fixed it with no problem.

i use both and i have to disagree with you if you tell that linux is inefficient. its a very secured and powerful os , go for it.

i have a windows xp proffesional 2005 with service pack 2 operating system installed on my computer. i use it because it is user friendly and there are many softwares which are not available for linux.

Here's the run down: Two Linux boxes One 2003 Server One WinXP system Out of the 4, the 2003 server and the Linux boxes are the most stable.
