Pure water No. If yours does then there's a problem. There's something in there that smells.

sometimes water have smell of chlorine.But if you noticed a particular bad or strong smell or taste which mean you can not drink it.

It really depends on every individual's perception. But of course there will be a huge difference between a fresh glass of water, and the water inside a bottle which you held close for 2 days ;)
