just done dream mentor (quest) it was actually quite easy considering the requirements (need to have 85+ combat plus have done eadgars ruse and the other moonclan island quest).
the only pain of it seemed to be having to get a gout weed, as you have to go to trollhiem to steal one just like in eadgars ruse (unless of course you get tubers and grow your own).
the monsters at the end are easy enough to beat, it's annoying that the guy stands around, gets in your way and doesn't do any fighting... he supposed to be lvl "126"...
rewars for it were ok, 2 qp a lamp with 15k exp in it, though the lamp exp can only go on combat skills, 15k hp exp, 10k mage exp and some more lunar spells.
one of the new spells is stats spy, which is cool and fun, but like most of the other lunar spells is pretty much useless. (you cast it on someone and you can see their stats, fun yes, usefull no!)
anyway, this means that i now have my quest cape back on :D
anyone else done it?

Usually I'm more causcious myself but I didn't figure on facing a level 300 & somethin in a multicombat area with no prayer. They usually list such things in the quest requirements. Cought myself blindsided.
No big though, I was able to replace everything I lost in about 15 minutes this morning except for my Zammie coif. Thats going to be more difficult to find.
Guess I underestimated the quest. The ones lately have been pathetically simple. Besides the fight itself this one was. Once I knew what I was up aginst it wasn't all that hard anyways.
Your right though the level 124 friend your supposed to be "helping" is useless. I'd have prefered to have a rock to hide behind than him.

ouch, sorry about the losses you incured, i personally went in over causious... i went in 2 times with no armour on at all lol, only carrying food and a dds.
i soon learned that armour was gonna have to be used, so i just wore full black d hide and didn't die, thought the first for of the monster certainly made me eat alot of sharks.

if you want to become a member, then go ahead, many people get a bit bored with non member stuff only to do. i know that the non member quests are ok, and quite fun to do, but there aren't many of them.
there is tonnes to do in members, but you should think about whether you want to spend $5 a month on it, i mean, do you play quite often, and would you get your monies worth out of it?

No and I don't plan on doing it , I'v heard people below 85 combat with the quest cape complaining about it , it was a very stupid move by JaGeX then again they always have updates for low levels.

i can quite understand lvl 84- being a bit put out by this if they have a quest cape, they most certainly deserve their cape if they got it at such low combat lvls.
but it is only fair that jagex release something for higher lvl players, the majority of new quests are so simple they may as well be for free to play... like elemental workshop 2 rofl, that was just too simple!
