Any one have any tips on getting your 2 year old to sleep in her bedat night?

My 2 year old daughter amber does not like sleeeping on her own she thinks she needs to be with her mother all the time no matter what i do she will not sleep a whole night in her bed on her own. I try everything turning on lights,tv, music, and it works for a little wile but then she wakes up crying in the middle of the night. I hate hearing the crying so i just end up picking her up cause its usually in the middle of the night. And of course we all need our sleep. Any tips for this will help thanks jenny

Try this...Give your two year old two small things she would enjoy...toys,books,etc...nothing fancy. These are her passes if she wants to get up from her bed. She MUST give these up to you. Once you take the item, take her back to bed and let her know that she will not be able to earn that particular item back, but may keep the other one if she stays in her bed. She knows that you are going to pick her up, so rather than punish her, come up with incentives. They usually work better. Good Luck !
