How do you all feel about multi level marketing?

I know most of the time when I hear multi level marketing the first thing I think of is SCAM. But one of my trusted friends has been trying to talk me into joining in on this multi level marketing business that he has joined. The only reason I am even thinking about doing it is because like I said this is a trusted friend that I've had for a while and he has already made money from this business. I just hate the thought of investing money into a program and possibly not doing well with it. The business is called klikfire and they are over the online mall that I shop at called shop4zero. I've already made money from shop4zero so I know it's legit. But how Klikfire works is you make money by giving away free mall memberships to shop4zero and by signing up other mall owners and local mall subscribers.
