Here in Victoria we are on level 3A restrictions. We *should* be at level 4 but the state government thinks we don't need to be even though we hit an alltime low - 28% (I believe). How we're supposed to magically fill our reservoirs (dams) is beyond me. And we need to taks some strong initiatives - look for alternatives to recycle or produce water. Desalinization works in so many parts of thw world, yet we haven't started yet. I worry for our future but especially for that of my children. topic!

the australians may have prepared themselves well for the drought. people all over the world in fact are suffering from these abnormalities in the weather now. as it will be raining real hard in some places of the world effecting floods, it is drought in other areas which is hurting the population. in both cases of extreme wet and dry climates, the people will greatly suffer. once the farms will not be able to give good food yields and harvests, food commodities gets scarce and prices go up. this is a situation that no one desires.
