It should not matter, but unfortunately it in today's society it does.
It has been said that when 2 people apply for a position, both having *exactly the same* qualifications, the taller person always gets the job (or promotion, or better income) :(
It is totally unfair, height discrimination should be eliminated!

I ham 5'4" and I have always wished I was about 5"7'. I am ususally too short to reach things on top shelves in grocery stores. I have dated tall men and short men. Really didn;t matter. My husband is tall 6'2". I think most things are built for middle height or taller people. I would hate to under 5' tall. Life is much harder on shorter people I think.

It does to me when it comes to men.
When I was dating I wouldn't date a guy if he was shorter than about 5'9" (one inch taller than me).
I couldn't date a guy shorter than me. It would make me feel more "manish" lol!
I've seen some cute short guys, but I just wouldn't date them.
When it comes to girls I think too tall is unattractive (like over 5'10") and too short looks odd (under 5'1").
I think height does matter.
