Computer Operating Systems...Vista? What do you think?

I'm still using WIN 2000 and I love it even after using about a dozen other systems. Now Vista is out and already they have a Vista Ultimate. It seems like they didn't take long to figure out there were a lot of bugs in the first one so they almost immediately came out with the Ultimate to take care of them. I wonder what the people with just plain Vista will have to do now?
It amazes me that people will run out to buy the newest program as soon as it's on the market not giving a thought about the fact that it more than likely has a lot of bugs that have to be "ironed" out before it is as perfected as it's going to get.
Are you always one of the first to get the newest PC Programs or do you wait for it to be perfected? What do you do if their are problems right off?

every new computer program ( i mean specially the beta versions)has a bug reporting tool. those who are using that program and facing problems .. report there and then manufacturers take care of it. they also have their own bug detection tool . for business purpose it's very important to know user's view and suggestion before releasing the final version of any software. they also rewards users for bug reporting.
personally i like to use new released softwares. i have used vista home basic and now i am using vista ultimate. vista is a very good os though there are some driver problems.
whenever i face any problem i report on the manufacturer's site and finally they always remove that problems in their final or next version.

For now I think I"m sticking with my win 200, it's good to me. My second choice would probably be XP but not Vista for a couple of years anyway, although by that time a new os will be out. We just can't win can we?

Actually, Vista Ultimate doesn't fix any problems, it combines all of the features of the home and business versions.
Anyway, I prefer to get programs early, so I can download small updates as they are released instead of having to download one huge update later.
