Does being virgin still matter in a relation?

It doesn't really matter for me even if my partner is no longer a virgin. The important is she had lost her virginity before we have our relation and not during our relation with some other dude. :)

It used to matter to me but I guess since my outlook on life has changed, it doesn't really matter anymore as long as you love your partner and is reciprocated.

if you really love your partner, virginity is no longer a factor.

It shouldn't matter. No one should be held accountable for past relationships when in a new relationship. I gotta know tho, were you a virgin when you met your girlfriend? What's good for the gander is equally good for the goose.

I think in todays world it doesnt matter if your a virgin or not and that shows you we have come along way. Back in the days it used to be really important and everyone wanted to marry a virgin because she was labeled "pure" or innocent but all that has changed as did peoples morals. It wouldnt be a factor in my life if I met someone and he wasnt a virgin..that doesnt matter at all.

i'm sorry i thought your from the philippines, in the old days here in the philippines, when a guy kiss a girl, he must marry that girl or sometimes the parent force the guy to marry their daugther (in filipino term "PIKOT")

I don't think it matters anymore. Nowadays we all have several partners during our lives, so it would really suck if no-one after the first would want me anymore. :D

No, virginity shouldn't be an issue in a relationship. Its love that matters, right? And you should accept your partner and whatever his/her past is.

Everytime I encounter this subject I am reminded of a friend of mine who went overseas. WEnt to the USA and found himself a new girl. I remember this because he couldn't stop bragging about how he found a 27-year old virgin from the USA. - to reading Americans, in ASia, we think of the USA as the place of promiscuity. Anyway, she came into town and turned out to be the type of girl that few would have wanted to touch.

i dont think it should matter. the important thing is that they dont go cheating behind backs when they're in a relationship.

I'm an adult with a child and I don't expect men my age to still be a virgin. It's almost unheard of in this day and age. Of course, I don't want a man thats been with 100 different women but I prefer to leave the past in the past and as long as we wrap it up to prevent STD's and pregnancy then all is good.

i see that but it is still a gift better to be given to a long term partner like being married
